| Oh snap. It is I....me. Well, I realized that hard labor is not for me. Although I'm currently working, this fall I WILL be going to LakeLand. No doubt about it. For those of you who don't know I purchased an Xbox 360 at launch. Fortunately I had it preordered so I didn't have to deal with crowds and so far my system has been problem free. I bought a extended warrenty (don't get me started on the PS2's launch). I have Quake 4 which comes with Quake 2, Call of Duty 2, Condemned, Final Fantasy Online beta, and Dead or Alive 4 (I'm a fighting game person...I NEEDED a fighting game).
Do I regret getting the system? No. Do I regret getting it at launch? Definately. Though right now my system is problem free the PS2's problems didn't start showing up until a year later.....and talk about some of THE worst price gouging known to man! Also, don't let Microsoft fool you, the 360 is as bulky as the original box (what with a huge power cable). It just has a better look and the best controller on the planet. So, I've gotta go....gonna post again tomarrow.
| This entry will stregthen the soul of: Kevin
Wow, a new entry!? Insane!!! Well a lot of shit went down from the end of March to now. First of all, I've been hired by GameStop and have only worked one day so far. Anyways, Mark had his spring break so we went with Carl and saw Constitine. It was alright, a little less action than I thought there would be...but any movie that has Keanu Reeves with super powers and a smoking problem is fine by me. One thing that I found interesting was the fact that not a single "whoa" came out of his mouth. I could tell that at some parts he wanted to say it, but didn't. Oh well, who cares, he flipped off satan as he was rising up to heaven!!! Well, after the week of Mark came the week of Tato to which we played many hours of Neo Contra. The fact that we powned Neo Contra so hard sadden me. At the end of the week before Tato went back V came and as it turned out, drew and brad were home so of course V wanted to do a game of Civilazation. Now as anyone could probably guess I'm not a Civilazation fan. I don't mind Risk or Ninja Burger, but I'm just not a huge fan of the whole dice rolling genre. Nevertheless, it was something to do. V soon discovered that the only one with a Civ board was VB. Again, it was something to do so I went along, I figured it'd be entertaining and it was. I was the guide. That's right, I was to give V directions using the Mapquest map. As it turns out, I was a good navigator, but the map sucked. Seriously though, the mapquest map had us taking the longest way possible to get there and it wanted us to go down currently closed roads. So via cell phone we had V's dad guide us and guide us he did. Once we got close to VB's campus we called and he directed us to his place. Then we had an enjoyable ride home. Then it was on to...Ninja Burger. The oddly enjoyable game featuring Not a Ninja disguise cards that shows a ninja wearing a t-shirt saying, of course, Not a Ninja on it as the ninja gave a thumbs up. Eventually, everyone arrived and so the Civ game started. I think I did the most half assing that I've evar done. I sacrificed my men to build ships that I never used and so on. The only big thing I did was unleash legions of pirates on everyones sorry ass. Then the game was over and everyone headed home. Other than VB.....he was severly beaten within an inch of his life (not really, I drove him home.....as I beat him in the head with a crowbar). Thus the week of V began. The week consisted of Dreamcast games and clearance pies. So yeah, I convinced V to buy a Dreamcast. It took us a good chunk of the day to find one, but find one we did. We weren't able to burn games that weren't already burned games (so no, V does not have a copy of Typing of the Dead). Directly burning a Dreamcast game is a long drawn out process that we probably could've of done, but would've taken way too much work. So eventually, one night we decide to go to K-mart. It's around "Big Apple, 3AM." Then, there they were....clearance pies. That's right, pies that they needed to get rid of. Due to the hilarity of it all V almost considers buying it. I tell V that it'd make a great story and that I'd write about it in my blog, so he bought it. Let me tell you....this pie.....sucked ass. Then the week ends and the week of VB begins. Although I only hung out with him twice and one of the times was at his house playing Smash bros (don't ask why). Carl rented TimeSplitters 3 and I rented Tekken 5. Halo has ruined almost any other FPS game for me. So the TimeSplitters series (the bastard child of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark) which was once one of my fav FPS series now sucks balls in comparison to Halo. Virus mode was still fun, but other than that...I couldn't play it. I loved Tekken 5 though...even if it does have a mode that blatantly rips of Virtua Fighter 4's Kimute mode. I sadly have to return it today (with BlockBusters new policy you can keep a rental for 2 weeks). Carl and I also rented Doom 3 which is pretty good. Also, the day before yesterday Ed actually came home and is visiting for the week. On top of that, V and Mark came home that day and we watched the Reanimator. Then yesterday, myself, Mark and Ed went and saw Sin City which wasn't at all bad and I flipped off some bitch. Later that night we watched Samurai Fiction...which was good but was extremelt slow paced. Then we watched classic scenes from random movies. Before that we watched the Ultimate Fighter finale which was very entertaining. Later, Ed fell asleep and Mark and I started watching Missing In Action 2 starring Chuck Norris. The best part by far was when Chuck Norris leaped down in slow motion onto a group of Asians while screaming "Anyah!!!!!!!!!!!!" well that all for now.
| well, V visited recently. We went to Gander Mountain to buy a high
powered air gun. How the air rifles/guns that were there got approved
by the FCC is beyond me due to the fact that almost all of them looked
like real rifles/guns. Oh wait, they had an extremely small orange tip.
So V picks out the air gun that he wants and then it was off to find an
ATM. So V asks where the nearest ATM is and I say "Way over that
way" meaning NorthWest from where we were. V exclaims somthing
like "There's like ATMs everywhere in at my college." To which I
respond with "Yeah, but this is Mentor." We go and get the cash and
come back. So we get a reasonibly priced air handgun, an ass load of
ammo, and circus peanuts. Now I'm not talking about regular peanuts
here....I'm talking about the orange colored, marshmellow-like stuff. I
was a little confused as to why it was there considering the only other
food they sell there is beef jerky or as the kids call it, mechanically
seperated chicken. So we head to my house to test it out. V opens it up
and there aren't any instructions. If V or I knew more about guns this
wouldn't be a problem....but....we don't. Eventually V figures it out
so we go to test it. We shoot a couple things. Then we go inside and
shoot around. Brad comes over and we do some double dash. Then Drew
comes over and we play Super Josh Land. We forget a lot of rules so we
call Tato about 20 times along with a few other people. So a nome takes
Tatos pants as Tato's in mid air and then is hit be meteors and a pepsi
truck (which took Tatos pants). With any games like these I generally
don't do anything the whole time other than one big move. Like as The
Pansey Avenger I impaled Drew on a pyramid. Also, alcohol was spilled
all over the board (not literally). V ended up winning. Then Drew and
Brad left so me and V played some Halo online to which V improved a
lot. That's pretty much it.

| I hope I live long enough to hear someone say "Get that robot another beer!" | | |
| Damn you Capcom!!!!!!!!
xvxcvcxvxhhhhhhhhhhkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Sorry....I'm a little angry now. Those of you who've talked to me recently probably know the reason why. The fact that Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for Gamecube is IMPOSSIBLE to find....unless you want to spend a couple hundred dollars on ebay....which I'm not. Although, I'm willing to spend more money on it than it's worth but not that much. Here's my list of RE games that I currently own: Resident Evil (original in small case), Resident Evil Directors Cut Dual Shock Edition (with crappy remixed music), I will soon have the Japanese Saturn version of the original Biohazard (with uncut opening and extreme battle mode), Resident Evil (GCN Remake), Resident Evil 0 (Prequel; 2nd time i've owned this), Resident Evil 2 for GCN (Extremely rare), Resident Evil Code Veronica X w/Wesker Report for PS2 (2nd time i've owned this version), Resident Evil Code Veronica X for GCN (pretty rare), Resident Evil Dead Aim, Resident Evil Outbreak, Resident Evil 4 (special edition).
Here are RE games that I used to own: RE Directors Cut (w/original music and RE2 demo....which is now extremely rare), RE2 for Dreamcast, RE2 for N64, and RE3 for Dreamcast.
Well, now that I've gotten that out of the way, here's the point of my story: Iggle video is Satan!!!!!!!!!!!!! For whatever reason my search for RE3 leads me to Iggle video in Willoughby. I go in and go towards the GCN section. As a little side note RE2 & 3 for GCN weren't available at either BlockBuster or either Hollywood Video when they came out. Well, there I am at Iggle Video, looking at RE3 for GCN......and they wouldn't sell it to me.....according to some other dude who worked there though the Iggle video section at that Giant Eagle is supposed to be closing down, which means one of 3 things. They'll sell off all of there stuff and send what's left to either there warehouse or the closest Iggle Video (Mentor on the Lake one), they'll just send all the stuff to the warehouse, they'll just send all the stuff to the mentor on the lake one. I'm waiting to see.
